Mar. 30th, 2007 @ 12:20 am Feeling down
My Feelers: crushed
I have been thinking allot lately about my life and all the crap I have been through the past year. 2006 went as so.. March broke my arm had surgery and found out I was pregnant, May the dog I have had for 15 years dies,August my Mom dies 6days later my grandma dies,September I find out I have gestational diabetes, October car falls on Johns leg, November I give birth,December my 2 week old baby gets admitted to the hospital 2007 February we lost our state income tax check "still don't have it" March my Aunt dies and our fucking car gets stolen. When is this shit going to stop I really dont know how much more I can take. I havent been this depressed in a long time and it is kinda scary I dont like crying or being short with people especially my kids, I need to do something to mellow the fuck out.

What I'm Rockin' To: music makes me think of boobies
I have been DJ'ing for a while now. I thought it was going to be fun, but it kind of sucks. It is pretty boring really and kind of lonely even. Working the lights is fun though I cant complain too much I do get to sit on my ass and play music all night, the girls get mad at me sometimes because I wont let them dance to certain things like when they have been dancing to allot of Tool I have to cut them off unless there is some die hard fans in the club. I am not allowed to play one genre of music all night I am supposed to keep an eye on the crowd to see what kind of music I should play cause if it is a room full of thugs they aren’t likely to tip to Zombie or Pantera so whether or not the dancers like it I have to make them dance to rap and that is where things can get ugly, but like I was told during training if the girls don’t make money I don’t make money. The DJ gets tipped 10% of what each of the dancers make so my goal is to make them money which in turn makes me and the club money I don’t like all that responsibility, I was told "YOU ARE THE PARTY COORDINATOR" what kind of cheesy shit is that.

I went in to work tonight thinking that I was going to watch the dj some more before I had to check in. So then my boos tells me to go to the dj booth and wait for the dj,when she gets up there she tells me I am going to be running sound and introducing the girls...I almost shit myself my hands got sweaty and mt heart started to pound , but I did it for a whole hour and a half and every thing went ok. I still have alot to learn before they will send me out on my own or officially hire me for that matter. I am scheduled for 8:00 on monday to dj I had better be getting paid, I didnt get paid for tonight and thats fine but they told me to come in Monday so thats a different story.
By the way if I get this job some of you had better come up and check me out some night...

My Feelers: freaked the fuck out
I applied for the DJ job at my work and they want me to come in tomorrow and DJ with the person I am going to replace. I am about to crap myself. I hope I don’t fuck up to bad "or at all would be nice". I have always had a fear of public speaking, but I really want this job, it sounds like so much fun. I would get to talk shit to people over a mic, drink beer, pick music I like, and did I mention the whole sit on my ass part. I would be getting tipped out 10% of each of the dancers earnings at the end of the night and get paid more by the hour... I really want to do it but I can already feel the irritable bowl syndrome kicking in. Wish me luck. Oh and by the way if I do get the job I will be asking a few of you to recommend me some good shit for the girls to dance to or maybe even burn me some stuff you’ve got.

So I have recently started working at Sugers an it has made me want to stop drinking "just a little". I dont know how many times a night I have to tell the same people over and over again that I am married or every time I bring back a beer they want to know how much I have to smile and say that will be 2.50 "the same price it was for the last 5 you fucking moron" My favorite question is why arent you dancing? I usually dont answer I just smile and walk away, I smile so much in a night my cheeks hurt when I get home.I do like having some power over people though, I get to have people thrown out and cut off its fun stuff. I am going to say one more thing that I think that every pizza driver or waiters and waitresses can agree on and that is FUCKING TIP I make 2.25 an hour fuckers...

My Feelers: crappy
Today has to be the worst day I have had in a long time. It started off with the alarm at 6:50 after 3 and a half hours sleep I got up packed Brent's lunch and took him to school then I came home and woke John up to ask him if he would go to the store and grab Emma and I something to eat and some cigarettes before he went to work, he said maybe... Then he gets up 20 minutes later and I ask him again he says he doesn’t have time and says he doesn’t remember me asking him that but he left me 5 dollars so I could walk up to the store later. I then realize that I left the stroller in the car yesterday when we went to the fair so I decide to ask Jimmy if I could buy a pack from him I already owed him for one pack so I told him to keep the 5 and I would give him a couple more dollars when John got home, he told me no took the 5 dollars and gave me 5 cigarettes then left. I call my mom to see if she has deposited the money in my account from the insurance company so I could at least order food "I am really tired of Ramen noodles" and find out that my Grandma which is in a nursing home at the moment since the house caught fire has stopped breathing and was rushed to the hospital and put on a ventilator. I went to lay down thinking that I should probably rest incase something happens and my mom needs me and Emma would not go to sleep so about an hour later I call my mom back and find out that my uncle is not going to make it "that’s right MY UNCLE" and they don’t know if my grandma will either. My mom decides to leave her mother at the hospital because they say her vitals are stable so that she can be with her dying brother. I tell my mom that I will be there ASAP and to tell Uncle Johnny that I love him incase I don’t make it up there in time. By the time I call John and tell him I need to leave really soon and get the chance to call my mom back my Uncle had died. So now I am sitting here with no sleep starving with a dead Uncle and Grandma in ICU and I have to be to the school to pick up Brent an hour I am hoping that John gets here soon so I don’t have to take Emma up there without a stroller. I still don’t know how I am going to explain this to Brent...

What I'm Rockin' To: Green Day Holiday
I went to see Green Day last night with John and Rachel and we had really shitty seats so Rachel and I decided to go on a quest to find better ones. John decided to stay where we were, which was a mistake because we ended up in some of the best seats there. Turns out we were sitting behind the singer "Billie Joe Armstrong’s" family, we were kinda of surprised when he announced that his mother is from Oklahoma and that she was there. So Rachel and I met his Mom a couple of his Aunts and cousins, talked to them after the show for a minute they were really nice I told his mother that her son was awesome and really sexy "she laughed”. The show was great they pulled three kids out of the audience and taught them some cords and had them play while he sung it was really funny. I guess that is all I have to talk about so have a good day all.

Aug. 8th, 2005 @ 07:13 pm You smell like old people, and soap.....I like it!!
I have been at my new job now for about a month and today was my first day to go out on my own . I like it so much better than having to do twice the rooms because I had to do the third floor as well as mine since I had to be with somebody for training. Now I have the first floor all to myslef it is so nice. Except if someone shits in the floor I have to clean it up by myself, and they do shit and piss in the floor "frequently". I am kinda worried about walking in and finding someone dead since they are ancient. The youngest is in their 70's and the oldest is 103. It is bound to happen if I work there for a lengthy period, I just know it will crush me because I am already getting attached to some of the residents.

This is one of our residents Frieda Bambas "atleast thats what google says I dont know the woman she might not even be alive by now this picture was taken in 2oo3 for the paper".
Now I have to go in tommorow and find out about her hopefully shes alive.

Jul. 18th, 2005 @ 11:55 am Birthday Burn
My Feelers: sleepy
So yesterday was my Birthday and I had a pretty good time. I went to White Water and got burnt pretty bad. We got babysitters for the kids so I could be a kid myself. I had lots of fun I went with 5 other people and I rode everything but the Acapulco cliff dive and the mega wedgie, those sort of slides don’t appeal to me I don’t like being dropped from 200 hundred feet going straight down with my swim suit going in all my naughty bits.
I called in to work today, I feel like ass. Anyways I will leave you alone now I have to go to countless banks to see who will let me start a checking account with little to no money, my jobs has a required direct deposit policy and I am not on the account John opened for "us" so I am going to start my own and hold on to the damn debit card with all my might "like John does". Anyways have a good day all.

Jun. 15th, 2005 @ 01:06 pm why didnt I have a bus driver like that?
Today was Brents first day to ride the bus to school (I have been driving him to school for the first week)
so I walk him on to the bus and they are listening to Holla Back Girl and I dont mean on a crappy radio this thing had bass and all. I was like what the hell? All my bus had was the boom box that some one brought and it always sounded like shit and the driver would always tell us to turn it down :( Oh yeah the bus had seat belts :) that made me feel better about sending my son off with some lady I dont really know but what I thought was weird is there was only 1 seat belt per seat? Oh well I made sure he got one.

Housework Can Wait

Come in, but don't expect to find
All dishes done, all floors shine.
Observe the crumbs and toys galore.
The smudgy prints upon the door.
The little ones we shelter here
Don't thrive on a spotless atmosphere.
They're more inclined to disarray
And carefree even messy play.
Their needs are great, their patience small.
All day I'm at their beck and call.
It's Mommy come! Mommy see!
Wiggly worms and red scraped knee.
Painted pictures, blocks piled high.
My floors unshined, the days go by.
Some future day they'll flee this nest,
And I at last will have a rest!
Now you tell me which matters more,
A happy child or a polished floor?

For All Mothers

This is for all the mothers who froze their buns off on metal bleachers at soccer games instead of watching from cars, so that when their kids asked, "Did you see my goal?" They could say, "Of course, I wouldn't have missed it for the world," and mean it.

This is for all the mothers who have sat up all night with sick children in their arms, wiping up barf laced with Oscar Meyer wieners and cherry Kool-Aid saying, "It's OK honey, Mommy's here."

This is for all the mothers of Kosovo who fled in the night and can't find their children. This is for the mothers who gave birth to babies they'll never see and for the mothers who took those babies and gave them homes.

For all the mothers who run carpools and make cookies and sew Halloween costumes and for all the mothers who don't.

What makes a good mother anyway? Is it patience? Compassion? Broad hips? The ability to nurse a baby, cook dinner, and sew a button on a shirt, all at the same time? Or is it heart? Is it the ache you feel when you watch your son or daughter disappear down the street, walking to school alone for the very first time?

The jolt that takes you from sleeping to dread, from bed to crib at 2 a.m. to put your hand on the back of a sleeping baby?

Is it the need to flee from wherever you are and hug your child when you hear news of a school shooting, a fire, a car accident, a baby dying?

I think so.

So this is for all the mothers who sat down with their children and explained all about making babies. And for all the mothers who wanted to but just couldn't.

This is for reading "Goodnight, Moon" twice a night for a year. And then reading it again, "Just one more time".

This is for all the mothers who mess up. Who yell at their kids in grocery store and swat them in despair and stomp their feet like a tired two year old who wants ice cream before dinner.

This is for all the mothers who taught their children to tie their shoelaces before they started to school and for all the mothers who opted for Velcro instead.

For all the mothers who bite there lips (sometimes until they bleed) when their 14 year olds dyed their hair green.

This is for all the mothers who lock themselves in the bathroom when babies keep crying and won't stop.

This is for all mothers who show at work with spit-up in their hair and milk stains on their blouses and diapers in their purse.

This is for mothers who teach their sons to cook and their daughters to sink a jump shot.

This is for all mothers whose heads turn automatically when a little voice calls "Mom?" in a crowd, even though they know their own offspring are at home or are grown.

This is for mothers who put pinwheels and teddy bears on their children's graves.

This is for all the mothers whose children have gone astray and who can't find words to reach them.

This is for all the mothers who sent their child to school with a stomach ache, assuring that they would be just FINE once they got there, only to get a call from the school nurse an hour later asking them to please pick them up right away.

This is for young mothers stumbling through diaper changes and sleep deprivation. And mature mothers learning to let go.

For working moms and stay-at-home moms. Single mothers and married mothers.

Mothers with money and mothers without.

This is for you, so hang in there. The world would be a terrible place without the love of mothers everywhere. You make it a more civil, caring and safe place for the precious children in our world.
